Filippo, a degree in Biology, has been cultivating many varieties of chilli pepper for years and in the beginning his productions were spread between the terrace, the house and the gardens “on loan” from acquaintances, from which started to create chilli creams for friends. Little by little he decides to present his products to the markets and in Milan he casually meets the journalist Annalisa Zordan, who dedicates an in-depth article to him on Gambero Rosso. Such an achievement as a simple hobbyist excites Filippo and his partner Sara shortly before opening their company in Gemona del Friuli, based on a modern and creative approach. A series of activities are added to the classic work in the countryside (plowing, milling, sowing, transplanting and so on) to transform and promote the raw material: drying, freezing and various processes in the laboratory, markets and fairs, management of social media and e-commerce, collaborations with chefs who valorise products in an alternative way and partnerships with other small local businesses to create spicy artisanal delicacies, from baked goods to dairy products.
